Its just babies babies babies round here!!!!!!!

Having just spent a 12 day stint at Raigmore, offloading my own latest (and last?!!) offspring, I return home to find that Lima the Chinchilla has added a small ball of fluff to the chiny family, and Mistoffolees the Cat is big, round and ready to drop another load any day soon!!!!!

So I think a quick call to the vets is in order for Fluffy and Tiny the Kittens (now 8 months) before their hormones take control!!!

well, sadly we lost the wee chin today, dont know why, just one of those things i guess. the kids saw it lying in the bed, not looking great, so the eldest took it out and held it, but it twitched a few times then died in her hands.

i do wonder if something was wrong with it from the start, as Lurch would sit constantly looking in the cage, whining and jumping every time it moved, and now its gone, he has barely looked at the cage. so perhaps he knew something was up. i suppose we will never know, but hopefully if Lima has any more we will be a bit more alert and pay attention to lurch if he does the same again.
