lol - I'm going to tesco... no meal, no socialising... just plodding along as though it's a normal Sunday. The only thing that is different this Sunday is the Easter card on the mantle piece that my grandparents sent me.

I don't need to be around lots of other people or sit at a table covered in food while others go hungry to remember what Easter is all about.

Well said Amethyst its not all about chocolate eggs. How many children who roll their eggs down a hill know the reason why they're doing it? The true meaning of Easter hardly gets a mention.

No Andy Stress is still there in the cupboard under the stairs.

I have spent an hour arranging an abrupt orchestral piece symbolising the peace mankind has enjoyed since the dawn of organised religion.

I was having Nigel Kennedy and Vanessa-Mae over for dinner; but I changed my mind as on such a peaceful day I want no risk of violins.

Happy Easter everyone!

Ours is 100% non-religious and the kids got chocolate but not an egg. Bunnies, chicks and chocolate is what easter is all about these days, I've never known anything else!

Welcome back Rob ! Happy Easter ! The kids & grandkids are coming over later for dinner, yes they have choccies waiting for them and after half an hour of them running riot, we'll be asking ourselves WHY do we do this every year?! The answer is in the deafening silence once they've gone home, celebrate LIFE and make tons more happy memories. :D

Why should any of us on this thread call you sad? After all, we're all on .org this holiday, too!

Either that or we could all be sad together lol
