John McLeod died in Rangag 16 May 1869. His wife Christina McLeod nee Sutherland died in Rangag 8 Jul 1872. At the time of their deaths they were both staying with their daughter Elizabeth McLeod and her husand William Williamson. William Williamson is shown in the 1871 census as a farmer with 100 acres in Rangag. Please can anyone tell me where the McLeods would likely to have been buried.
I think that John and Christina resided in Rumsdale during his working life as the records show John as being a shepherd at Rumsdale.
Is there anyway the property at Rangag is able to be located. I have an old hand written note suggesting that a relative from New Zealand visited Rangag and located the remains of a longhouse the Williamson family had lived in.
