Hi

I have to head south to pick up my daughter in Inverness - does anyone know what the road conditions are like on the A9.

Cheers

I have a work colleage heading south, he says there are a couple of cars off (dunbeath/brora) and that it was a bit slippery early on (7am) starting to thaw now, gritters have been out.

Thanks for messages - left going south until 9am and road was clear the whole way down. Just had a wee panic when it was snowing first thing.

Cheers

the roads aren't so clever today (well this morning anyway) there was drifting pretty much all the way up from brora to the top end of the causeway mire

We got home at 3.00am this morning. Temp -6. Road from Brora up wasn't great. Really bad from Ramscraig up to Causewaymire road - as you say scary stuff.
