well going back and looking at events that took place 10 years ago not much
has changed..included is a link to the news for 1998, and if you change the names the items seem the same as today....
Are we actually going forward as a society or a we failing, and if so why....

think we are failing miserably....powers that be only want to get and keep hold of the oil....infact looking at the news stories from then we are worse off by far ....

yep we are worse off, but that is down to the technology we had brought in....i was just reading an article about a man who was 81 yrs old built a robot from plans of the internet, and programmed it to shoot him, he committed suicide by robotic means, but how long before the news gets worse with terrorists making suicide robots.......

NO........................its good to luck back in life to see the changes we have gone through, and see if we have advanced any or are will still stuck in the old world, which for some seems to be a fashion......

to a point i agree but,especially when you consider some who use it for their sick twisted things that we had never heard of 10-20 years ago....it seems to bring out the monster in some for all it's better attributes,cyber space too has become just as twisted as real life in the same time space........it can be a truly horrible life these days and for all the news coverage and the way we may complain nothing ever changes..............................

Well Justine it has changed, the news was full of trouble in Ireland. The peace process has quelled a lot of problems.
Things have also become a lot more civilized. there is one exception......
Wick. The time land forgot. Same families causing the problems and the same fashions.
The world however seems to have learned to advance

Ouch. Blowfish I think you've got it totally wrong there. Surely, all the trouble is caused by the incomers......................
