Felt the need to escape yesterday, not so much "Up West" as West, South, West and back! Ullapool for Lunch - Barking!
A couple of photographs from this insanity.

The first one looks very abstract! I am sure that there are more pictures in the picture :-)

Thanks Raven, it's only the second time I've photographed that church, Its a great subject and has gone on the list to be re-visited.

I agree - great photo Boozeburglar.

The church looks familiar, but I can't think where it is. Can anyone enlighten me?

Sure, it is at Syre.

Thanks. My brain has been hurting trying to figure out where it was. :)

Haven't been down that way for a few years, but will never forget the wonderful views from Ben Griam Mor and Ben Klibreck.

Great pics. I spent a few hours in Ullapool last year, this was my favourite from the day, though I wish I'd had an ND grad filter for the sky...

Great shot, lovely sky. For me I would take out the slight "lean" to the left. (this is a very minor nit-pick)

That is called perspective, young man!

Call it anything you like Boozeburglar, the whole image has the impression of a left side lean and its a minor critisism, that for me would improve a very good image if sorted. (I would also remove the lamp post and a couple of small roadside debris that tend to distract) Great work though:Razz

Can't think how it could be bettered now, lol!

Were I printing or posting it for any more than anecdotal purposes I would check horizons, etc, of course.

Cheers.

I actually did rotate it after everything else but went back to fiddle with the sky and forgot to reapply...

Can I have a horizon in you Barn No. 1 now, Lol!

....possibly one of the most beautiful places around (even if you can't see the sea)....
