View Full Version : Seabirds at Thurso Harbour
Out with the camera (again) looking for something to try the new neutral density filters (4 & 8).
Anyway, came across this great group of chaps. (and quickly forgot about the filters!!)

Excellent photos. They gave me a good laugh. Somehow, every component of the photos seemed to be just right - and funny.
I am going to have to have a go at B&W someday. Isn't it a step backward though?
haha, not very cooperative them models, eh? In the first pic I would shop the rusty ladder out...

Deemac,
Like the B&W, the first photograph is excellent, but I would agree with Raven about the rusty ladder.
psyberyeti,
Black and White is one of the joys of photography, but as you will find out, much more of a challenge than colour, learning to see in black and white is a interesting challange!
Enjoy.

I remember when everything was black and white.
I'm sure that coloured anything was not invented till the mid sixties:lol::lol:, although if you very very posh you could afford extra shades of gray!!
