Need Help

Hi there all my friend has asked me to try and get some information on memorial funds etc and how to go about it.
Her little brother died recently and was wanting to do something for him to remember him by,he loved horse riding,music,dance and going to the youth club.
Has anyone any idea on where to start.
Any ideas excepted

Maybe he could provide a piece of equipment to the youth club with a plaque on it saying who it is in memory of, or something for the Halkirk disabled riding etc.Or buy a trophy with his name on, in memory of, for the horses section winner in the county show.
