If you're at all handy then your best bet is probably to look for a new keyboard on ebay. You can search google and the acer website for information on how to dismantle your laptop without breaking it.
Last time I bought a laptop keyboard it was £30, but they vary hugely.

i did something similar. Bought the keyboard I am using now for £5 and plugged it into a USB port.
And yes its an ACER.
Another tip which ACER do not know according to my e-mails with them is;
When you come home full of lager and smash the screen just plug a monitor of any description in and press F5
I do not know whether they did not know or just would not tell me.

To replace the laptop keyboard, you will need the part number which you should be able to get from either Acer or Google, then try eBay for the keyboard.
You should contact acer to see if the warranty covers it, but I doubt it.
If you have home contents insurance you may be able to claim for it.
In the meantime buy a USB keyboard from Tesco, it'll get you by until you get it sorted.

I've not a lot to add except that there may be more than the keyboard at fault, the juice may have caused damage within the laptop so replacing it may not help.

If an external USB keyboard works OK then it's still no guarantee that replacing the internal one will work.

It might just be a case of taking a chance and hoping for the best.
