Some excellent photographs there. I particularly like the detail of the propeller and shot of the Inner Harbour looking towards the Ferry Inn.
I was out this morning, and also found an interesting Propeller to photograph at Castlehill Harbour.

Great images Dee! I struggle slightly with your choice of colour in the borders, especially the pink one :-)
I can see where you are coming from, but imho the brown clashes a bit with the bw. I would either give the image a slight "tone" or the border more neutral... :-))
I know the main subjects in pic 1 are the lobster pots, but I would have liked to see the top of the ship not cut off...
All in all Dee, I think you are doing a pretty good job with your new toy :-)
(I know that you appreciate an honest opinion and thats why I bothered)
Raven do u like b.w photo,s...or is it just a choice when u are out and about....oh and the photo,s are great

Great photos Deemac. I love the lighting on the Thurso beach shot.
You've inspired me to try the black and white treatment on a couple of photos I took today ...

Well done Bobbyian. What scale is this at? (and what's it for?)
The scale is 1:12 and they are "dolls house size" shop fronts that we , That is me and the OH, have done as a Hobby for mine and others to enjoy etc.
Can we get to see a photo of the whole model then?
Yes, Ill try and get a steady hand at the weekend
But untill then I found this in my bucket it what we did as a show piece for a miniature fair in Arnheim last autumn althought a bit out of focus we built all except the Little people
