Dear Orgers,
Since my father passed away last year, my mother is almost totally addicted to Challenge TV.
The appeal of watching 20 year old episodes of Bullseye has sadly diminished for me, especially as they are repeated ad nauseam. Don't even mention Roy Walker, Des O' Connor, Paul Daniels, John Leslie, or Dale "bloody" Winton.

If you could come up with any alternatives I would be eternally grateful.

She is 75 years old, so please keep your ideas sensible.

Kind regards,

Lumberjack.

Maybe it reminds her of happier times LJ? what about the TCM film channel, it has some good B & W films that even a younger lady like me can appreciate !:)

I don't see the attraction either.....but maybe as anneoctober says these programmes bring back memories for her. Unless it's your telly she's watching them on then where's the harm? Mind you knowing what my granny was like she didn't know how to change channels.
