Can anyone help me with my playstation 2 problem as it won't play any disc .

My BF took his one apart and cleaned the lens bitty and it's worked perfect since;)

hi you can get a cleener disc of ebay and that will do the job for you no need to take it apart

If you dont want to wait for one from ebay you can get a Laser Lens Cleaner Disc from Woolworths in Wick, the cover states for DVD players but if you look at the back the Playstation is mentioned, worked a treat on ur PS2's.

My mates PS2 stopped working like you said. Lens cleaners or anything wouldnt work. We took it to a shop who said it would be cheaper to buy a new PS2 than fix the lens on that one. So he had to buy another PS2!

Also Ive read all over the internet and on the ceeefx computer magazine that this has happened hundreds or thousands of times. Nothing short of a rip off on Sonys part.

p.s I hope your PS2 gets fixed :cool:
