Tesco claim to offer the Cheapest Fuel in a 3 mile radius.
There Unleaded is 5p a Gallon Higher than the other 3 Fuel sites in Wick :~(

I noticed this when I was through earlier! Couldn't help but think it's because they have the offer on where you spend £50 and save 5p per litre! :confused

I'm sure the last time this offer was on they jumped the price up 2p!

If you buy fuel at Tesco and find it cheeper you can take in your receitp ant they will give you a refund - or at least they used to.

I passed Tesco about 30 minutes ago,
and i'm sure the unleaded petrol was 105.9
and the diesel 110.9

Seems to me that local stations made a mint before Tescos came along if they can sell at a lower price now.

well we bought petrol at tescos a earlier tonight and it was 106.9

The local sites are all at 105.9.:D
Tesco Elgin 102.9.
All the fuel comes out of the tanks in Inverness i wonder why the price differance.

Thank your lucky stars all you living on the Wick side. In Thurso its 113.9p litre for diesel.

Thurso 113.9 Profit Equals EIGHT Pence per litre equals 40 Pence per Gallon

if thats the case what was the kind of profit you lot was making before tesco arrived ?????? cos im sure it was more then 40pence a gallon .

Not as annoying as were I live in Aberdeen, where there is a huge banner offering so much per litre off, if you spend a set amount.

THERE IS NO PETROL STATION NEXT TO THE TESCO!!!

You have to go 6 or 7 miles to the nearest one, by which time you could have got your fuel at a simillar price nearby.

Went to Wick today; cheapest unleaded was in Tesco's; @ £106.9, don't know if anyone is aware but the 'spend 50 quid and get 5p a litre off' is still going (until 16th March) no signs up about it as they have been replaced with 'computers for schools' or something..

They had the same banner up in the Thurso tesco, but we have 21 miles to travel [lol]
