We were supposed to be going to Mauritius this summer, but we've had to cancel because we're moving. We'll save up again and go another year.

Just off the old 'road to the isles' a couple of miles past Arisaig going towards Morar. The islands you see are Eigg & Rhum. The beach was the location for the seashore scenes in 'Local Hero' which incidentally is on telly again tomorrow. It is a very special place for me and without being melodramatic it's where I'll end up - on a hopefully breezy night;)
