A few years ago a guy tried to rob a gun shop in the US. Besides the owner, the other 5 or 6 people in the shop at the time were off-duty policemen, who had been taking their annual gun safety and marksmanship qualification on the range in the back. Needless to say, the operation did not go well for the thief - the news report included the term "bullet-riddled body".
