We were there a couple of years ago, there is quite a long narrow road (not quite single track but not much bigger) to actually get to the caravan park. We kept meeting timber lorries and it definitely put us of going back. Too be honest it really depends on what you are looking for and how old your children are. Really lovely scenery, but we didn't feel there was terribly much to do when you were there, we spent an awful lot of our time out and about and very little actually at the park.

We were there years ago when the kids were wee and thought it was great. Lovely site, small but friendly clubhouse with good nightly entertainment in the summer and super big pond where the kids spent ages catching tadpoles. The road was the only drawback, very narrow and twisty and our youngest was sick every time we went anywhere. It was very handy for lots of places to visit though. I felt it was very "safe" compared to some of the bigger, busier caravan parks, the kids got to know other kids easily and usually met up with them every night at what ever entertainment was on.

we are off to Embo at easter with the Sun tokens, been to a few places with them now, Tummel Valley being one of them. Great value!! and the kids love the entertainment.

If you don't mind a longish trip I would recommend Blair Drummond Safari Park, we thought it was fab.
