Sending picture messages. Help!!

Hi, i have a vodaphone sharp mobile but with an o2 sim card in it. The thing is it wouldnt send or recieve picture messages. Phoned the o2 helpline and pressed buttons, to activate my phone to send and recieve picture messages only wrong thing now is it wont let me open the picture message i have recieved.

Any ideas?
