I have just taken a few photos. Hardly ever see the whole sky as orange as it is tonight. Isn't nature wonderful.

Its been dull and over cast all day here and tonight its the strangest sky I've ever seen.
Wish I could capture it on film,birds are still singing so its not domesday yet.:lol:

I'm still watching it fading here from the north boundary of Wick looking towards Watten. It was indeed stunning - pale mauve through to pink and orange ........

Wellies - could you share your photos with us on the Photography forum? I was so busy watching it from time to time, I didn't even think about getting the camera out :(

was at watten loch at 5 45 would have be beautiful picture but never have camera with me at right time,orange sky over blue loch,

thats why i never go anywere without my fone if i dont have my camera i have my fone, its on 3megapixel but it does an alright job
