i wis choost tellin ma guid friend (who i love very much) that i wis planin hevin a properly, proper chilly oot nite enite.

candles, incense, bath, book, facemask, jamys, toenails an tweezers.

no telly, bit o jazz, blues...funk. wine - obviously.....!

pizza later maybe.........an o' course...ye guys ;)

pretty much the same, i love having a bath with the smelly candels, get the tweezers out and some music, i dont do the facemask, save that for when ma best mates over n we do at together :)

after im relaxed i chill out on ma laptop with a bit o tv :)

when the kids have gone to bed we sit and relax quietly with a coke(can of) and a fag.....just so people dont get the wrong idea....

But if we want a reall chilled night on goes the pan pipes, of go the lights and we take time to ourselves...

well for me i have a quiet night in usually every friday night, unless i go out which is very rare.

The bairn goes to nana's, i get OK magazine a scratch card, couple of bottles of wine, some snacks (crisps, dips and chocolate). Have a bath then put on my pj's and my dressing gown slump in front of the TV or film, read my magazine, drink and eat loads, scratch my card and thats it:lol:

Thats when the OH is off working.

When he is home we usually go out for a meal or i cook something tasty then have the evening to ourselfs;)

i forgot til say that i niver hed a day off iss week so hevna hed twa menids til masel.

til enable me til hev ma 'properly proper' chill oot session i HEV til tidy 'e whole hoose fie top til botttom :lol:

cana be lyin relaxin in 'e bath if ma kitchen floer isna washed or thurs dust on 'e carpet...

iv just feneshd cleanin ma windows, hooverin 'e whole hoose, ironin ma clothes for tomorrow an now im clearin oot a drawer thats bin buggin me for days - im lek a woman possessed....!

ahhh, it wil be worth it tho, in an oer, when i step intil ma candly lit bath wi ma book ;)

a whole nite o' bliss aheid o' me....

Perfect chill out for me is a hot bath (come out like a prune type) in the dark with radio on, followed by a good pluck and nails done then relax with a beer in front of the telly in PJ's, can't beat that scrubbed all over feeling. Can't get into face packs for some reason, don't mind the peel off ones but too impatient to wait for them to dry. Quite like a Lidl lemonade ice lolly to round it all off.

Trix, finding me time is just so difficult these days that I've really got to make an effort so tonight with the help of your thread.
I've done a reading of my cards.
Going to go upstairs to strip the bed and put clean sheets on.
Run a Badedas bath,lightsome candles and a nice smelly stick.
Stick some Sheryle Crow on.
