Just after moving into my new place, I managed to take some time out and see my new home. I found some of the waves at Thurso amazing, but a local surfer pointed me in the direction of Sandside Bay.

As you can see, I quite like getting out when the wind blows.

I'm glad everyone likes the shots :)

I have always had a passion for landscape in general, but seascapes are something I can really get stuck into.

Boa, I'm quite flattered that you have chosen a picture for your desktop. Careful when you mention money, you get me thinking! :)

1/250 sec f13 iso 500. focal length 135mm (200mm equivalent) hand held.

Shot #2

1/60 sec f8 iso 400. focal length 32mm (48mm equivalent) hand held.

Taken on a Nikon D80 and 18-135 zoom lens.

Here is one more for you taken at 1/200 f13 iso 500 80mm (120mm equivalent) hand held. :)
