Forgive my ignorance, but what is the significance of the Bilbster Stone.
I don't think anybody knows for sure, it is a mystery.
When we were young, we were told that single standing stones were for coos scratching their behinds.......:lol:

Thats what I thought too, there's a lot of them around in Caithness, I thought maybe 'The Bilbster Stone' was somewhat different.
Nah, 'at ston's no diffrant; hid's chist beeger ciz they hev beeger coos in Bilbster.....
I think there is a difference between what the Biblster stone is for and what the cows use the Bilbster stone for.:)
Isn't the Bilbster Stone fourteen Caithness Pounds? [lol]
