A trip across the Minch to Callanish - the stones are stunning.
Big Country's 'fields of fire' mixed with a hotchpotch of mainland pics and even some 'special effects'!
Okay, it's not Terminator Two but I'm only a learner:lol::roll:

Many thanks Percy, I have walked that shingle beach at Ullapool but a long time ago and I think one of the views was Loch Broom from inland.
Never got to Callanish but the stones look really impressive and the stautes down by the harbour are beautiful. wonder if you have any stills you could post?

thanks all for your comments - Lizz - Will have a look for a couple of stills but 'fraid the light wasn't great for moody shots ...we couldn't stay until dusk. The beach was Ardmair Bay, just north of Ullapool and the ferry was indeed in Loch Broom.

Lizz here are a couple of stills of Callanish Stone that I took while on a break to the isles in 2005.

handy for scale - she's five foot tall - that central , dominant stone is a whopper!
