can anyone tell me what the roads between wick and thurso are like have the gritters been out.

just heard on Caithness FM that it's pretty slippery. Seems to have been gritted earlier, but not much ploughing gritting happening just now.

Hi have been on the road tonight travelling from Wick to Reay. The road is quite bad in places, I saw one gritter but without much success due to the winds. Watch out for very slow vehicles if you intend driving.

i travelled this road lastngiht a couple of times,it was a disgrace 30/35mph jobby the whole way,bit late now as its cleared!!
