As everybody seems to talk about it, I will start this thread with some of mine...

the pic with the curved wall and the one with the curved road kind of confuse my eyes, lovely but strange to look at

As long as nothing else is confused its ok LOL. That is what you get when you take panoramas with more than 180` view with a straight line running along...
Believe me, I have even more confusing ones:lol:

No panorama, just Inverness a few years ago. Looking at the forecast it might be like this over the weekend.

Raven and grumpyhippo, excellent photographs, as ever. I must admit it's lovely and cosy sitting here looking at these wonderful pictures of a snow clad fairyland. Well done both of you. ;)

Was thinking much the same thing.
Its about time we got snow...my 3 year old is, in his words "excited". I told him it was raining, no response, told him there, was hailstons again no response. When I said snow...he ran through to my bedroom and was mesmerised watching from the window. "Aw bless!".

and continuing the 'old boot' theme..

A critique of the old boot photo would be appreciated as I've no idea if it works or not. Thanks.
I really like the pictures of the old boot and the others from the ruined cottage. I enjoy looking at things which remind me of past life in Caithness; I'm just an old sentimentalist really......
P.S. Have you found any old bedheads/baths/sinks etc., in the fields? I saw the one in the cottage and it reminded me of all the household things that were put to good use after their original intention!

The old petrol pump is worthy of it's own photo shoot - I think it's gorgeous, it has style, and I like old stuff [disclaimer; my wifie is not old but I like her].
Cuddlepop, hope you don't mind, but I did think you had an excessive blue colour cast on your shot, so I removed it. Any better? (fav scenery)

Hello cuddlepop, just download Picassa2 from Google and apply the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button and will probably do it fine for you. I use it all the time and it works a treat. And it's free - which appeals to me very much. Good luck, psyberyeti
some beautiful pictures everyone:D

Hi Raven. Yes that is really how long ago we have had any amount of snow. These past few years has been very mild.
