Just testing out my new polarising filter, its a bit fiddly fitted behind a grad, but ok in its own.

Processed on the laptop so exposure might be a bit off:

That's a grand big picture Riffman.Looks to have been taken from my direction(Smith Terrace)and if i may say so, it has crystal clear clarity. Well done you. ;)

Great view from up there, I did some night shots a couple weeks ago!
The bottom third of the pic seems awfully dark to me.
Why did you felt the need for a polarizer there?

Why did you felt the need for a polarizer there?

The sun was hitting the fish shed, so metering off that gave a very dark forground. Why polariser? No real reason, just trying it out, although it did not do much as the sun was behind me and thus I was not shooting across the light which is needed for a polariser to really work well.

You should have still noticed removal of reflections, did you shoot a comparison?
