Last weekend I watched Greyfriars Bobby on TV, still a great film.
It brought back memories of the North School in Wick. My class and some others went to watch the film at the Pavilion; I must have been 7; we went in one big long procession 2 x2 down Ackergill Street, then passed my house on Coach Road, along Louisburgh Street, then down the hill to the "pictures". A real adventure and treat in those days. Were any other Orgers in that procession?
