Hello all you expert photographers,
I have just started doing a bit of research on graphic tablets to be more precise with my photo editing. Does anyone use these and what are they like and how much do they cost? And are they really worth the cost??

Thanks
Lolabelle :D

Hi
Not much use to you but Tesco's had them in for £24 b4 xmas
Its a Trust tb 2100 A6 size I haven't used it but my daughter is made up with it drawing and sketch wise. They must be available there too. Or tesco direct?

I use a Wacom Intuos 2 at work. Great for a program like "painter" (art material simulations).

Of more limited use with photoshop unless your into building alpha channels (masks) that feature lots of transparency and wispy detail (like frizzy hair etc.) Also Ok for the painting/arty type edits.

I use a dual monitor set-up and it can be a royal pain to scroll across from one side to another. Overall I'd suggest its an icing on the cake tool for some specialist tasks, but not essential, particularly for basic photo editing.
