Shadow problem

Hi

My monitor (Flat Screen) has started showing 'shadows' to the right of any writing, icons etc. The shadow streaches for between one and two inchs.The problem is right across the computer ie on word documents, desktop etc. It also affects videos, game play and photos.
It is not affecting the performance of the computer, just very annoying.
I wonder if its a problem with Graphics card - NVidia GeForce 7300SE.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try the monitor on another PC first as easiest way to check if grafx card or not. If card is fine then next to check would be the cable (vga/dvi one not the power cable) also make sure refresh rate is 60hz and is at native resolution. If card is at fault make sure it's not too dusty so give it a careful clean and put back in to check before you go buying another one.

See how you get on with that.
