I have just watched a documentary about possible locations for the lost civilization. The Minoan palace at Knossos is absolutely amazing for it's advanced architecture and water supply and drainage systems which used terra cotta pipework. The town being excavated at Akrotiri with it's 3 storey buildings, intricate water supply and drainage systems including indoor toilets is also an amazing place which belies the fact it was constructed 3,500 years ago.
