well after much deliberation we decided to get a puppy. Not only for us but for bingo aswell..We picked Tank up last night and bingo has taken to him perfectly. He tries to mother him, which seems unusual for a male dog...
Here is a pic of our TANK>>>>

hes a staffy x.His mum is staffy dad is staffy x something. But he looks like a staffy. We did not want to get another dog that would grow tall as we have bingo who is a wapping 41kg, so a small but powerful breed would stand up to his boistrous play, well thats if bingo knows how to play.He seems protective over tank.If the cats go to have a look he gets up and stands between cats and pup...

Awwwww Justine, he is beautiful. It's good too that Bingo has taken to him. Justine, Tank and KJ can grow up together and who knows, they might just be inseperable and a delight to watch. Big kiss to KJ from me please XXX ;)

I dont think keonah-jade is gonna get a look in.Theah-Saffron has taken to him and him to her. She is 2 and she sits perfectly with him by her side...But after bingo they should be able to go near any dog...Keonah-Jade is just waking so i will pass on the big kiss..

Carasmam you are ruight.he was the one sat at the side not running around and being a lunatic.I knew he was for me and the family...But it wont tkae long for him to fell at home..He will have to put u[p with sonme cesar milan workouts though...

bingo has his backpack, his new coat coming and his whistle...so as soon as i can get tank his injections and chip in him i will be having him out with bingo to get him socialised with other dogs and people.Cant wait. This is helping me through my PND .I love my animals, have since i was a child and to know that i can dedicate my time to soemthing that needs me other than my children,is helping keep some time to myself.I walk alone and enjoy my dogs..will kepp the pics coming.Hoping to get one of bingo and tank together...

And when the sun is shining like this a walk is a great tonic, no SAD for me the last 2 winters so I am delighted, glad your coping well with PND.

I laughed when you said Tank was the quiet one at the side - I picked the cheekiest, in your face one and she was the devil himself to train

Justine he's so cute.
what a lovely idea to get a new puppy and Bingo being so caring with it.
Our youngest was the quietest of the litter too and one of her other nick names is Zippy as she never knows when to shut up.
I dont mean barking its as if she's talking to you.

I always say to people never go for the one that runs to you and starts to play....I will always check out the quiet one. They are normally submissive dogs and they can be trained so much easier..Hope yours is a good one now...I have to say even though i like girls to boys, i do prefer male dogs to bitches...What are females like...

Gemma was telling me about Tank today. She said to check out the ORG because you might have some pictures up of him. He's gorge. Love the staffie face :) I want one LOL

My Ceser Milian book came today. I look forward to reading it. I don't think it will take me long. Plus, I'll have it for reference later on.

Milo is getting SOOOOOO much better on walks and in the house. I have noticed such an improvement. Especially on our walk just now when I was picking up his poop and I didn't even notice the person and dog walking towards me. It was the other dog whining that alerted me and I was suprised to see Milo was still sat by my side though he was giving the dog that "obsessed" (or should I say posessed :D) look that he does. I corrected him and stopped him looking and he was sooooo good. I think a lot of it was I still get a bit tense when I see another dog coming and because I didn't see it I didn't get tense. He was wearing his backpack too. He doesn't seem to mind it at all. I think I might get some relaxing music on my Ipod for walking Milo maybe that will help keep me relaxed...

glad that things are getting better with milo.I knew you had it in you to do this. If you think that relaxing music will help you stay calm then go for it.See if you can find something that milo likes aswell.....
yep you could say Tank is a sweety....The kids love him and so do i.cant wait to get him out on a walk after his injections...

Actually, Milo likes Katherine Jenkins. The last time I was playing it I left it on in the room and went out when I cam back he was sound. Didn't even hear me come in the door. I wasn't playing the music loud, but he was spread out on the floor and looked really relaxed. :)

Aaaawww! Tank is a wee sweety!:D Staffies get such a bad press but they are lovely wee dogs if cared for properly.

He will be a lovely companion for Bingo and they will probably tire each other out!

It is great that he has settled in so well. Am so glad that your PND is a wee bit better.
I do find that walking helps with depression and having the companionship of a lovely dog/s makes it all the more enjoyable.

Isis is a good name. I quite like that. :D I'm an English Bull Terrier fan too. Wanted one since watching "Oliver Twist" when I was a kid
