im not really a fan of Clooney at all. I think Johnny Depp is a fantastic actor though, he can play absolutely any character.

There is no comparison, Johnny Depp is such a talented actor, George Cluney is ok, but not in the same realm as Johnny Depp.

So we all agree, but it will be interesting to see who actually does get it.

Depp should get it simply because of his expressive eyes! Pity James McAvoy wasn't nominated though. He has developed into a good actor over the years.

Day-Lewis is a great actor, at least as good as Depp, but I haven't seen any of the films as yet so I cannot make a choice based on the work being judged.

Javier Bardem should have got a nomination but they've put him in the Best Supporting Actor slot. He'll undoubtably win it tho!
