In Thurso u must be joking

There is a couple of sports shops but all u can get from there is the new strips when they come out and a mug if u r lucky

But i hope this shop is going to be like the rangers shop in Inverness, sells allsorts of stuff

I can't wait for it to open, and with xmas coming up it'll be good for pressies

1 of my sons supports celtic and the other supports rangers, so i don't have to go to two shops, i just go in 1

So whoever owns it hurry up and open up :)

I heard it is opening in Mediocrity Street, that is certainly one street where they are "side by side"

Also heard they are doing retro strips to celebrate the past triumphs in European campaigns, the downside is that the writing is in Latin and the numbers in Roman Numerals. I think the merchandise includes table lamps. Courtesy of a cunning design function, the Rangers version appears further down the table every time you look at it.

On a serious note, I somehow doubt the long-term mileage in an outlet specializing to such a degree. OK, Christmas may be one thing but how many days are you going to feel the need for a fix of Old Firm nik naks? The other obvious problem is that these items are only a mail order phone call or internet basket click away. I rest my CASE

Has internet gambling seriously effected the bookmaker trade Scorrie?

Thought we had enough charity shops in the towns of Caithness??? I will take my old green and blue clothes with patches on them along to help them boost their sales - in the meantime me, jambo and elite98 are investing in a really quality shop that is going to be selling the best of HMFC goods to give everyone a real chance of buying quality - and no-one will be side by side, why? Cause you're all below us hahahahahaha

here here the weeboyageel. lol

just for you and the Jambo,

BELIEVE

Saturday morning, I’m already up
My stomach is churning, I reach for a cup.
Spooning out coffee, I laugh to myself.
Then put the jar back up on the shelf.

The kettle is bubbling and so is my head,
I pour out the water and dare look ahead.
This week it's Celtic, I really can’t wait.
I pour in some milk then I hunt for a plate.

On goes the toaster, two slices of white.
My brain is in turmoil, this cannot be right.
The Hearts are unbeaten, we’re still at the top.
I feel my smile widen, my laughing wont stop.

I run to the TV and crank it right up,
To see once again how the Hearts won the cup.
I remember each moment, each kick of the ball.
I’m back there at once on the best day of all.

When Cameron slots home and Big Steph bangs one in,
I’m leaping for joy at the thought of our win.
It truly was magic that big day in Spring,
When the Jamtarts got up and the Rangers got pinged.

I smell my toast burning and come back to life,
The coffee is cold and I can’t find a knife.
My breakfast is ruined, but I’m still right up,
Remembering the day when the Hearts won the cup.

This year I feel that the good times are back,
We’re good in defense and we’re great in attack.
There’s not a team that the Hearts won’t take on,
And they don’t give up ‘till the game has been won.

This season feels special, everything’s right,
We’ve never looked better prepared for the fight.
I wonder some times what this team can achieve,
One word says it all, and that word is BELIEVE.

I mind seeing ye all sitting at Tynie with your heads in your hands, Greeting!! Oh my, you made Easter Road laugh that day

Has internet gambling seriously effected the bookmaker trade Scorrie?

I have been out of the business for over seven years now so I couldn't make any comments based on actual turnover. Looking at bookmakers now, however, you will see that they all have gambling terminals offering roulette, poker etc, also there are fruit machines, lottery style numbers games and so on. These have all arisen to offer an alternative to punters who may have moved to other gambling options. Today's betting offices are more akin to casinos in my opinion, with an opportunity to lose your money being thrown in front of you every other minute, via the previously mentioned events plus computer generated horses and dogs which go by the name of "Virtual Racing"

All a far cry from only fifteen years ago when there was no evening racing, no Sunday racing, no floodlit racing, no all-weather tracks, no overseas racing, no bandits etc and premises had to be closed by 6.30pm The inside of the premises was not allowed to be seen and gambling opportunities consisted of a horse race every fifteen minutes and perhaps a dog meeting on a Saturday plus football coupon. Nowadays you can bet on anything from who will win Pap Idle to which book will win the Booker Prize?

Online gambling is on the up, you can lose a fortune in the comfort of your own home, the only problem is that it might not be your own home for very much longer!! Like all gambling, you only read about the winners in the papers, whilst the losers are giving Ocean a call to see if they can get themselves out of Crap Creek and still have enough left over to take a wee holiday break in Las Vegas!!
