This calf was born outside tonight, it is very small and we had to take it into the house to give it warmth, it had a good sook on a bottle, and is now fast asleep. Wonder whos going to get the early shift. LOL

We had a premature calf born 7 weeks early 8 years ago and had to hand rear her. As I am sure you know it is hard work. The calf is now a very health cow and had lots of calves herself. Good luck

What a happy looking photo this is of baby and mum  Pleased things look to have worked out with Mum! I think Mum's head is roughly the same size as the entire calf!
