Thomas Dunnet and Isobel Miller are my 4th great grandparents
through two of their children Helen who married James Innes and Walter who married Jean Geddes.

My line of descent is through James and Helen's son John Innes and Elizabeth Dunnet through youngest daughter Elizabeth who married John Matheson. As well it is through Walter and Jean's son John who married Helen/Ellen Unston(several variations of surname) through daughter Mary Ann Dunnet who married Arthur Rosie.

Can I ask what evidence Wellies and Torvaig have for Thomas being the one born to Thomas 1699 and Helen 1700(it makes sense but...) and that 1699 Thomas was the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Sutherland?

I may have some information that Wellies and Torvaig do not have Domino.

Sorry Mamie, I'm not the one doing the family tree; I just have a copy and have Thomas Dunnet born to Thomas and Helen about 1724 in Gills, Canisbay and married to Isobel Miller, born about 1728 in Gills as well.

Not for sure but suspect it was John and Herret/Harriot.

There is a John born 1731 In Thurso with father Adam that might be James' father.
