My first Thurso street party and by heck it was good ! Friendly faces, all ages and great atmosphere . Crisp frosty night , could n't have been better, just got OH intae his bed and heading there myself to warm my tootsies on his leggies ! Happy new year all.................:Razz

Thurso Street Party was a great success. Huge crowd in good spirits (!), a superb band in Whisky and excellent weather. he way New Year entertainment in Scotland should be and not the recored junk I watched on TV this morning. Both BBC and ITV shows were poor television for any occasion and certainly for the New Year.
Well done to all the organisers and helpers of the Thurso party.

Dut Deemsc, with all your picture wizardry stuff you can do, how did you manage to leave Bob Johnson in the pic?? Or could you not have covered up the glare from his bald spot???? Only joking.

I'm certain that the bald spot is too much headphone wearing in his youth!!:eek:

I assume the Caithness FM broadcast went well. (I was far too busy to tune in . . . . );) Wish all the Caithness FM crew my best for the new year.

A great night was had by all, Deemac, Thanks to both types of Whisky (Liquid and Audio/Visual) and of course the HIT Squad.

Best wishes to one and all for 2008 from all at CFM.

We stayed on air after the bells until 2am and the listener interaction was fantastic, it makes it all worthwhile.
