I am teaching myself piano and can't seem to find any decent online resource sites. I know of good sites like Activebass.com and activeguitar.com for guitar players, where you can find chord finders, metronomes, scales and heaps of sheet music and lessons for free, but for some reason can't find anything like that for the piano?

Any piano/keyboard players out there point me to a good resource site??

Depends what you're after. Is it to learn piano online or something else (vamping or chord structure, etc.)

Have you tried www.sibeliusmusic.com ? It contains an educational section, it may have what you need. You have to download the free Scorch plug-in which will allow you to see the music/resources on the screen.
Sibelius software (at version 5 at the moment) also allows you to create educational worksheets. If you know someone with this program, maybe they could print out a few sheets for you.

Thanks Cazaa, I'll check it out. By resource I mean a site like http://www.activebass.com if you look at that you'll see what I mean. Its like a community site where people can submit things and learn from others submissions, it covers most musical styles and has stuff from beginner to advanced, covers chord structures, scales, arpeggios and also has notation for famous songs etc...

www.mrmusiccanada.com is good. Some song tutorial on line, but you have to pay to get more. DVDs available. Good for you - you must have a good ear for music.
