Try this:

Pasta Carbonara

8 slices streaky bacon (or more if you like)
1 pound pasta
1 package frozen peas (not thawed; 2 cups)
4 large eggs
1 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese plus additional for sprinkling
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Cut bacon crosswise into 1/4-inch-wide strips and cook in a large heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp. Remove from heat.

Cook pasta in pot of boiling salted water according to package directions, stirring in peas 4 minutes before pasta is al dente.

Meanwhile, whisk together eggs, cheese, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

Reserve 1 cup pasta-cooking water, then drain pasta. Add pasta to eggs along with 1/2 cup reserved cooking water and bacon with drippings, tossing to combine. Add more cooking water to moisten if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.

Dont really have measurement for this recipe But here goes.

4 Chicken breasts
veg of your choice i use an onion, carrots & sweetcorn would also be good with mushrooms.
Pot of creme fraiche

Chop up the onion & brown in a little oil add the chopped chicken breasts, crumble a chicken oxo cube over them & brown add veg of your choice & leave covered to simmer while pasta cooks - if the pan needs more liquid to stop it sticking either add a splash of wine or water.

just I crumble a chicken oxo cube in to the pan of boiling water & add pasta as per instructions any pasta at all dosent matter.

you can also add garlic when you are browning your onion if you like it of course

Just before you drain pasta add the creme fraiche to the chicken & veg & stir well. Drain pasta & then serve.

Nice served with garlic bread & parmesan cheese.

If you have any left over Turkey Chicken or pork on boxing u could make it with that as well (obviously take less cooking time with cooked meats.

This is so easy!

jar of Dolmio
sliced mushrooms
sweetcorn (optional)
half a tub of philadelphia

add the philly to the heated sauce and cooked mushrooms, stir until it melts then serve over pasta

It makes a wonderfully creamy sauce in minutes, great served with garlic bread
