Addition/Correction to my post of November 21, 2007 --
The daughter that was mentioned on the death registry of Mary Ann in 1954 was Elizabeth, NOT Barbara as I wrote.
John and Maryann Miller were living in Olrig in 1891. John was born in 1857 and he was from Murkle. He joined the police force in 1882.
On the 1891 Census he was listed with his wife, Maryann and 4 children and they were living in Castletown village.
Anyone know more about this family?
