Yes, advertised as "Hogmanay Party" at the war memorial.

Why they had to add "Dec 31st" is beyond me!

Yip, they've collecting boxes in a lot of places but the one's I've seen have no registery number. :confused Maybe I'm wrong, but, I'm sure there's a legal requirement for them to have a registration number on them to show that they're licensed, otherwise anyone could put a charity box on display to make some money. (I'm sure someone on here will put me right on that one.)

Thurso is very multicultural with a lot of people who might not know what Hogmanay meant or when it was so it is just good advertising and good PR!
