William Sinclair/Janet Campbell

Hi - I'm seeking any information on the family of William Sinclair who married Janet Campbell in 1798 at Bower, Caithness.
I'm interested in who were Williams parents and whether their children included James Sinclair (married to Margaret McKay and who's children were involved in the boating tragedy "The Widows of Clyth).

Janet Campbell was born 1764 at Ausdale, Latheron.

Hallo, I have just posted a thread relating to Widows of Clyth. I hope this will help - though I have not yet finished my search here.
I know some other folk have done lots of work, and no doubt they will offer to help you too.

The book can now be purchased on line and I do suggest you read it - It has been beautifully researched and written and gives a strong feel for the people and place of that time.
( Although fiction .)
