Council Garage Rentals

Does anybody rent their council garage?

What is the costs and do they have power?

It was £9.80 a week when I gave mine up earlier this year. The one I had didn't have power. Barely room to open the door of a big car let alone do any work on one anyway :(

we pay about £30 pm, there isnt any power in garage and you couldnt swing a cat in it :(

It was the same with us when we were in Tain - we rented a garage from the council and it was about £9 a week and tiny with no power. We used to have a Rover 25 and we barely got it in and only just managed to shut the door after it!! Now we have a Peugot 406 and there's no way it would fit in it!!

Cairn Housing garages are about £18 a month but no power and not very big.
