I have an old dog who is starting to find the stairs in the flats where I stay a bit of a bother, they are stone stairs and she has fallen down them more than once now and hurt herself. I think she might be loosing the power in her back end as she is getting older. What I am looking for is some sort of lift idea, slide or box type container to get her downsatirs in.

Hi, well i doubt you'd get a stena stairlift on the nhs :Razz, maybe you could adapt one of those baby bouncer type harnesses:confused

Hi - a couple of links for harnesses.
If you are handy you could try making one with a long leather belt and maybe a sheepskin type material that would be comfy round your dogs belly :)

:)I cant beleive the change in her already she is running around again like a two year old, now whether this is the effect of the tablet or not I dont know but I would realy like to thank you for your advise, she did go down the stairs herself today without me helping her. Thanks again I will be back in touch if I need any further help and get in touch about the harness which I may need but at this rate not just yet. I am very happy with the result. :)
