Hi, does anyone know when the lights turn-on will be in Thurso? Tomorrow or Saturday? What time? Anyone know if there are performances/entertainment like last year? Thanks!

PS. Can't believe it's that time of year already! (And what a nice tree this year! Makes a change from the usual flimsy-looking one!)

I'll be there playing Christmasy tunes from about 6pm, and the other entertainment of Caithness & North Sutherland Children's Choir, and Pentland Brass Band will be on from around 6:15pm. The lights are getting switched on about 6:30.
I have also heard a rumour that special guest will be there (no NOT Bob Johnson). I won't mention the special guest's name, but he has a big white beard, and a red jacket and trousers (answers on a postcard to Blue Peter....)
And don't forget that it is Thurso Fun Day on Saturday. In my other guise with Caithness FM we will be playing in the preceint ALL day so feel free to ask us for a CHRISTMAS TUNE, or why not donate a pressie to the Caithness FM Pressie Pile? If you donate a big one we may switch on our bubble machine for you!!!!
