Well the weather hasn`t been great this year, but I`m hoping for a nice end to december as we are spending christmas up north and hoping to get out and about with the kite cam!

There have been some great sessions down south despite the weather........
Drummore - Scotlands most southerly village - (needing the most northerly one now!)

Sweetheart Abbey just south of Dumfries............

So after a year where we spent easter stuck inside waiting for a good day then suffering a huge loss of pictures due to a dodgy memory card, rainy and blustery summer and so far not a bad start to winter. We are looking forward and begging for smooth winds and clear skies over caithness.

For the people who have followed this the rig has been modified and the kites replaced with custom made (very expensive) state of the art designed single line deltas.

For anyone else if you see a big black triangle in the sky - look up and smile you may be on cam!

I have never heard of a kitecam.

Great stuff grantyg! I would be a bit reluctant to hang my cam up into the air :-)

Can't wait grantyg. Your jokes have sometimes been awful but your photos are always superb. Long may your kite fly :D

WE have a few places in mind to take photos off but does anyone have any places they would like to see from a kites eye view?

Castles, beaches & rivers for me please. I'd especially like to see Ackergill Tower from the beach at Reiss. I think Lolabelle would be interested to see this too. Oh - and Wick River.

In fact, my list is endless..... so look forward to seeing anything you manage to capture grantyg. Thanks :)
