Alexander Manson was born circa 1853, son of Alexander Manson and Janet Morrison. He may have been born in Olrig Parish, but I cannot find his birth in the OPR. There are several possibilities for the family in the censuses, but there were an awful lot of Alexander Mansons around, so finding the son's exact birth year would be most helpful. Can anyone help?
