Mrs Ricco and I have just come back from a couple of garden centres, one of which had an aquatics centre. Fell in love with these cute little blighters - they came rushing over to the glass to see us just like a bunch of puppies. After some enquiries found out that a tank (of a size that suits us) will cost about £50 incl heater. The fish will be about £10 for 4. Plants and some bog wood another tenner or so.

Does anyone keep Pygmy puffers? I understand that they can be aggressive towards other fish.

my hubby like these fish and yes we can tell you that they will eat fish that are smaller than themselves...Ideally you should really just keep the puffer fish in a tank on their own. They can get aggressive towards eachother aswell, but they are fantastic to watch...
