Oh yes, I’m the Groat Reporter.
Wi pencil and pad in my hand.
For stories I glean
I can always be seen
At each function across the land
Reporting for the Groat is so grand.
Oh yes, I’m the Groat Reporter,
Is there something ye want me till tell?
A Meeting or Dance
Just give me a chance
And I’ll write in a manner so swell
Reporting is what I do well.

Ye’ll find me at every Do
At Games and at Races
Wi all well kent faces
