Life is good!

Yes, today I have to say that "life is good".

1) It is snowing in Toronto, but I am in Edinburgh.
2) I have found and purchased a snow shovel.
3) I have a car, a new red car!
4) Over the past 10 days I have been showered with orger hugs. There is nothing in this world more wonderful than orger hugs.


That which would make life very good would be to get back my computer with its list of e-mail addresses. Hey, we can live in hope.

Life is good because:...

It's Friday (yippee!)
It's payday (double yippee!)
It's sunny (and not snowing)
My family is happy and healthy
An old friend I haven't seen in years is coming for dinner tonight...

Other blessings I can think of...

I have a job I love, with people I don't mind working with
I am in balance with most of the world
I have a home to go home to at the end of the day...with food in the fridge (and wine in the cupboard!)...and people I love to share it with
I have a pound in my pocket
Other than a mortgage I have no debts (this month at least!)
My car works (slowly...but it works!) and I haven't hit anything with it
I can still fit into my jeans.

It's good for me today too, canuck:)!

1) My oldest daughter's coming home from uni for the weekend! Yipee!

2) In anticipation of this, the house is tolerably clean and orderly. I'm pooped, but unlike some situations where the journey is better than the arrival, with housework the arrival is definitely best:cool:.

3) Driving home today, there was a huge clear moon in a bright, cloudlessly blue sky over the Dunstable Downs...lovely winter stuff!
