I woke the other day to find this beauty trying to get a drink from the water filter. It kindly hopped into a jug so I could take it outside. I was happy about this as it was so big and I didn't want to kill it. It was about 15cm across when it's legs were fully extended.

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh, don't say that, I wake every morning scanning the walls and ceiling as it is!!!!!

Years ago, my youngest sister had a big spider living in the rafters above her bed, and it used to chuck dead instect leftovers out of it's dining area and onto her bed. One day she woke to find a big smudged, squashed spider in her bed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
