I'm full of beer on a pavement from what I see
A kebab drippin from ma lip,a kiss for a kebab for free
Cos I'm sittin in the capital aw the world,Edinburgh ye look so sunny
But ma eyes are blurred and misty dear,it must seem to ye so funny
But memories seem so far away from life that is today
But memories grasped from one wee kiss caused me no dismay
Cos it wisnae a kiss that said"Hey hen ye wannae go to bed"
But a kiss that said"Hey hen,aw the best tae the year that lies ahead"
Cos a Hogmany party I'm supposed to be celebrating
But ma slevers fae ma mooth say that I'm salvating
Cos wi the times in the World,Sydney I saw yer bells first
But the Capital aw the world,Ye'll always quench ma thirst
